MY PROFILE

I am a South African Land and Seascape artist residing in Pretoria.

Using oil on canvas to express emotion in my work.

The South African Landscape is the inspiration for my work. South Africa is home to such expressive and beautiful landscapes, it’s impossible not to be inspired by them.

 

I use expressive brushwork and apply multiple thin layers to achieve not only depth in color but also create emotion in the work. The viewer is invited to experience their own emotional interpretation of the work.

 

I consider the artwork successful if there is a connection between the emotional content I tried to achieve and the viewer.

I do take on commission work if you would like to talk about working together, or if you have a specific project you would like to propose.
